“To have a member based, family-friendly Golf Club renowned for its golfing ethos, heritage, and friendly atmosphere, with a golf course, and facilities of the highest possible quality providing an enjoyable and challenging experience for golfers of all ages and abilities.”

Our Mission:

  • To provide an exceptional golfing experience for our members and visitors;
  • to carefully develop, maintain and present the golf course in line with best professional advice, practice and standards, placing emphasis on providing the best possible playing conditions all year round;
  • to deliver a rewarding membership experience in line with our core values, both on and off the course, by ensuring that our customer services and facilities are of the highest possible standard, whilst maintaining our financial stability and providing our members with excellent value for money;
  • to maintain and promote the legacy of our proud heritage and traditions, whilst working together in an innovative, progressive and enjoyable way towards realising our vision for Southwick Park Golf Club as part of Southwick Estate

With our clubs Vision at the centre of everything we do, we have identified the most important parts of our golf club – our Core Pillars.

  1. Governance: Our Board of Directors, GM Office and Committees are aligned and working with the best collective intentions of our club
  2. The Course: Maintenance of a high-quality course using highly professional green keeping staff.
  3. Attracting and Retaining Members: Our members are the core lifeblood of our club and we will act to attract and retain them to provide stability to our Club
  4. Finance and Governance: Club is managed in professional manner with an effective and efficient management structure (Board, GM Office, Committees) which operates in a business-like manner in line with our Vision
  5. Customer Service: A friendly and welcoming environment to be maintained for both members and visitors
  6. Visitors: We are a Club who make visitors feel welcome and we manage our visitor bookings in such a way that our members can still get a good selection of tee times on any day of the week.  Revenue from visitors being utilised to the benefit of club members
  7. Bar & Catering Services: To have an appealing and profitable bar and catering service which creates a vibrant Clubhouse atmosphere.
