Southwick Park Golf Club
International Trophy Saturday 12th March 2022
International Trophy of 4 teams of 18 players representing England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland. The competition will be played as a shotgun start with a player representing each nation in each group.
The cost of entry into the competition will be £10.00 for each player this will cover prizes and a meal of Ham, Egg, and Chips on completion. (NO two’s sweep)
The competition is open to all 7 day members of the Men's and Ladies sections of the golf club.
Entry into the competition will be via the IG system. There will be a competition sheet held in the Pro Shop where you will be able to select the nation that you wish to represent. Once you have viewed the competition sheet and have decided which nation you are going to represent, register for the competition on the IG system. Once you have registered on the IG system enter your name on the competition sheet held in the Pro Shop. YOU ARE NOT TO ENTER YOU NAME ON THE COMPETITION SHEET UNTIL YOU HAVE REGISTERED IN IG. Any member who has appended their name on the competition sheet but not registered in IG will be removed from the competition. The competition will be Stableford format. The top 12 scores from each team will be used and the team with the highest score will be announced as the winners.
PRIZES:- There will be a prize (Bottle of Sprit) for best score in each team, best score overall, and a prize for the top 12 players from the winning team (Sleeve of Balls).The aim of this competition is FUN and to get everybody ready for the competition year ahead. The competition has not been run for the past 2 years due to COVID restrictions, so let’s make this an enjoyable day, have FUN, and play some good golf.
