Dear Member,
Finally, it looks like we will be getting back to golf this week and hopefully we will remain that way from now on, albeit with restrictions on the clubhouse. Now that the WHS (World Handicap System) is up and running and the fact that it is an average-based handicap system, as opposed to the present potential ability-based system we used to have, England Golf will be encouraging players to submit as many scores as they can. Therefore I wanted to remind members that putting cards in, even for social rounds, will help make your handicap more realistic. To that end, the committee have generated the following guidelines.
