Coronavirus (COVID-19)- Latest update Monday 23rd March

Dear Member,

As you may have heard on the news this evening, the Government advice has now changed, and  people will only be allowed to leave their homes for the following very limited purposes:

• Shopping for basic necessities, as infrequently as possible
• One form of exercise a day, for example a run, walk, or cycle, alone or with members of your household
• Any medical need, to provide care or help to a vulnerable person
• Travelling to and from work, but only where this is absolutely necessary and cannot be done from home

The Prime Minister added, That’s all - these are the only reasons you should leave your home.

To comply with this, we have taken the decision to close the course completely, for the next three weeks. This will include the pro shop. 

The Board and management will be monitoring the situation closely and will respond to any questions you may have over the coming days, so please feel free to email manager@southwickparkgolfclub.com and we will collate questions and provide answers as best we can.

Do take care of yourselves and your families, stay safe and well, and we look forward to re-opening the course and welcoming you all back as soon as the Government advice allows us to.
